Terms of service.

The rules for using Atlas United data, the Data API and our AI assistant integrations.

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of atlasunited.io, the Atlas United Data API, the MCP server at mcp.atlasunited.io, and related dashboards and reports, provided by TrueFixR LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Atlas United. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Data API and MCP server

We provide a Data API (data.truefixr.com) and an MCP server (mcp.atlasunited.io) that let software and AI assistants retrieve our storm and forecast data. Free previews (such as counts, storm types, severities, risk grades and property exposure) are available without an account. Address-level records require an API account and a prepaid balance.

3. API accounts, keys and pricing

  • Address-level records are billed at the price shown on our API page at the time of the request (currently $0.05 per address returned), deducted from your prepaid balance. Free previews show the estimated cost before you pull.
  • Keep your API key confidential. You are responsible for all usage under your key. If it is exposed, rotate it immediately from the API account page.
  • An identical request repeated within a short caching window (about 2 hours) may be served from cache without an additional charge.
  • If you turn on auto-reload, you authorize us to charge your saved card the same amount as your original deposit whenever your balance falls below $5, no more than once every 20 hours. Email us to turn auto-reload off.
  • Prepaid balances and charges are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. We may change prices going forward; changes do not affect balance already used.

4. AI assistants

When you access our data through a third-party AI assistant, that assistant's own terms also apply. AI assistants may summarize, reformat or misstate our data, and we are not responsible for their output. Check important figures against our API response.

5. Acceptable use of the API

Automated access is permitted through the Data API and MCP server within reasonable rate limits. You may not scrape our websites, attempt to bypass billing, share or resell API keys, or resell or redistribute address-level records as a competing data product. We may suspend keys that violate these terms or threaten service stability.

6. Important disclaimers

Storm data means a storm was reported or radar-detected near an address. It is not a property inspection, damage assessment, insurance determination or guarantee that any property was affected. Forecast data is probabilistic: it describes storms that could happen, not storms that did happen. Radar-based measurements (such as estimated hail size) are estimates. Always verify before making business, safety, insurance or financial decisions.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, able to enter binding contracts, and use the service only for lawful business purposes.

8. Intellectual property

Our software, models, designs and non-public data compilations are owned by TrueFixR LLC. Public source data remains subject to its original licenses.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, missed opportunities, or decisions made using our data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrueFixR LLC from claims, losses and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or harms the service or other users. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
