Atlas Privacy Policy

Privacy, stated plainly.

What we collect, why, who processes it and how long we keep it. We do not sell personal data.

1. Who we are

Atlas United is operated by TrueFixR LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Atlas United ("Atlas United", "we", "us"). This policy covers atlasunited.io, the Atlas United Data API, the MCP server at mcp.atlasunited.io, and our dashboards and reports. The TrueFixR website has its own policy at truefixr.com/privacy.

2. Information we collect

  • Website visits: anonymous usage statistics such as pages viewed, browser type and general location (city or state).
  • Contact and sales inquiries: the details you send us (name, email, organization, message).

When you use the Data API or MCP server, we also collect:

  • Request details: the parameters of each request to our Data API or MCP server (for example state, county, coordinates, a street address you look up, storm type and date range).
  • Technical data: the IP address the request came from, the time, the response status and speed, and the name of the software or AI app that sent it (for example ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, as reported by that app).
  • API key reference: if you use an API key, we record a short one-way fingerprint of it so usage can be tied to your account. We never log the key itself.
  • Account and billing data for API customers: name, email, company (if provided), prepaid balance, usage and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe.

Our storm and forecast products do not contain homeowner names, phone numbers or emails. Address data comes from public and government sources.

3. AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others)

You can use our data inside third-party AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude through our MCP server (mcp.atlasunited.io). When you do, the AI assistant decides what to send us. We receive only the request it sends for our tools (the parameters described above), plus the technical data listed above. We do not receive your chat history, your prompts in general, your AI account profile or your memories. Your use of those assistants is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use requests from AI assistants for advertising and we do not sell them.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, secure and improve the service, including returning the data you request
  • Bill API usage, manage balances and send receipts and account emails
  • Prevent abuse, fraud and unauthorized access, including rate limiting
  • Understand which areas and datasets are in demand so we can improve coverage (using aggregate request data)
  • Comply with law

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, under their own privacy and security terms:

  • Stripe: payment processing (we never see or store full card numbers)
  • Supabase: database for API accounts, API keys (stored only as one-way hashes), balances and usage records
  • Amazon Web Services: servers that run the Data API, the MCP server and our forecast systems
  • Cloudflare: network security, caching and delivery for our websites and API
  • Hostinger: website hosting and business email
  • Email delivery providers (such as Brevo and Mailgun): sending receipts, API keys and account emails
  • AI providers (such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI): generating replies for our website chatbot
  • Google Analytics: anonymous website usage statistics

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

6. Data retention

  • API and MCP request logs (including IP addresses): kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Website chatbot conversation logs (message text, page, time and IP address): kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Account data: kept while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
  • Payment, balance and usage records: kept as long as needed for billing, tax and accounting obligations.
  • Anonymous website analytics (page views, clicks, general location): kept for up to 90 days.
  • Storm, forecast and address data from public and government sources: kept indefinitely. It does not contain personal data about homeowners.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to delete your API account, by emailing admin@truefixr.com. We respond within 30 days. You can rotate your API key at any time from the API account page. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted server access, hashed API keys and firewalled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure; report security issues to security@atlasunited.io.

9. Children

Our services are for business use and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
